Review content:
I made an appointment for 8:00 on a Monday. When I checked in I was told it would take a couple hours to diagnose my cars issue. I didn't hear anything until 1:00 when I called for an update and there was no info available. I didn't receive a call till 3:00 after they just started working on the car. They called my home home claiming they didn't have my cell number even though I gave it to them twice already. I didn't hear anything the rest of the day. Finally got a call at 9:00 a.m. the next day and was told it would cost $2,100 to replace my alternator and spark plugs that needed service. Keep in mind there are only 86,000 miles on the car. I talked to a friend who is a ford technician and he said that pricing was ridiculous. I called the dealership back and got a breakdown of the $2,100 and it ended up being less than $1000 and the other $1,100 was just labor because "the spark plugs are a pain to get to." So how did you know they were due for service in the first place? And my name isn't even spelled right on the service order. I don't intend to ever bring my car back to Sound Ford for service even though I bought they car from them in 2006. Thoroughly disappointing and frustrating experience.
