Review content:
Took my dog to Herschel Animal Clinic because her normal vet is closed on Wednesdays.
Went in for a basic examine/treatment for dog pink eye and was informed they wouldn't even look at her if I didn't have her rabies shots records with me. I even asked what they would do if she was just hit by a car and was in life/death circumstances and they stated 'there was nothing they could do' without the records.
1. The place I'd get the records from was closed - thus the reason I was there.
2. She's a 10 month old puppy and she has her city rabies tag on her collar - she wouldn't have the tag if she didn't have her shots and, at her age, it would be impossible for her to be due for another shot.
3. Another vet saw her just fine later today (WITHOUT the rabies records) and gave her terrific treatment.
It's obvious that animal care is not their number one concern. I should have read these reviews before even wasting my time this morning. Thank god it wasn't a time sensitive emergency. These people are horrible - never again.
