Terrible. Whomever wrote all the favorable reviews must work for the restaurant. As a professional chef I know that restaurants often write their own reviews to increase their ratings. Beware!\r We went for lunch and noticed the exorbitant price of the lobster bisque. Puzzled, we asked the waitress, ""why is it so pricey? Does it have a lot of huge chunks of lobster or another special ingredient?"" She informed us it had huge chunks of lobster, so we ordered it to split. When it arrived 30 minutes later, it was two tiny bowls of thin broth with nothing in them. We asked our server where the lobster was, and she said ""I'm sorry, it used to have lobster but not today."" Then our hostess asked how it was. We said we were disappointed because it was thin, brothy, small, and without any lobster meat, and very expensive. She sneered, ""It's a BISQUE, it's SUPPOSED to be thin."" As a chef I know this is not true and we were appalled by her attitude. Nobody offered to compensate us in any way. The main courses were unremarkable at best: The overpriced burger was nothing special except the cost. The miso eggplant was good in the spots where it was cooked, but half of it was raw and inedible. The scallop special on a jerusalem artichoke puree consisted of two warm scallops on a cold, unseasoned puree of jerusalem artichokes. I don't know if the puree being cold was an accident or not, but it was NOT tasty. Have you ever had cold mashed potatoes? Unappealing. Furthermore, we had cleared an hour and a half from our work schedules for lunch (should be ample time for 2 people to have lunch), but the service was extremely slow although the restaurant was not crowded, and it took 2 hours for us to get out of there with an extremely disappointing 2 course meal and an $80 dent in my wallet. The only people for whom this restaurant should hold any appeal are wealthy masochists who want to pay a lot for abuse by the staff, while consuming barely edible food. Pros: None. Cons: Food, Service, Prices
