Review content:
I remember going to this place when it first opened about a year ago. They offered a menu with 3 separate sections: American, Japanese and French. I wasn't in love with the place, so I didn't go back. My friend who lives near there finally convinced me to give the place a second try about a week ago.\r

I was pleasantly surprised. The food still has American, Japanese and French influences, but this time they don't try too hard to categorize it. The menu is now a lot smaller, divided into small, large and sides. My friend and ordered to share, splitting the pumpkin soup, the steak frites, the halibut, and the fried eggplant. All dishes were amazing. The steak and the halibut were cooked to perfection, and I couldn't get enough of the pumpkin soup and the truffle fries (came with the steak frites). The wine/beer/sake list is good and has some awesome hard-to-find selections on it. I like that they offer a lot of half-bottles too.\r

All in all, it seems like the restaurant has made some great strides since it first opened. Love the food, love the wine, and the service is very friendly. I would go back again.
Pros: food, wine, parking is easy
