Review content:
Dr. Elise Brisco is an extremely competent and caring doctor. However, over the years, I have seen her office change from being an inviting and carefree environment to a money-hungry place where eye care is only secondary to how many products and services can be sold. As a matter of fact, what prompted me to write this review is because of a letter from her office that stated how she's integrating mental and physical health into her practice by offering cardiology, chinese herbology, and plastic surgery (how does plastic surgery have anything to do with one's health?). I found it bizarre to say the least, especially considering the fact that I always had a bill of a $1,000 dollars or more for services I never requested and for items that I was forced into buying. Now, on top of eye care services, I would be charged for a forced consultation with the herbologist and plastic surgeon. Maybe, I'm too timid, but with a staff like Dr. Briscos, it's hard to be firm. And when problems do arise, don't expect good customer service. When I had a problem and attempted to talk with Dr. Brisco, I was repeatedly blocked and snubbed by her assistant. After 14 years of patronage, I never went back again.
