I've seen many Cirque du Soleil shows over the years and enjoyed them all. I was therefore very excited to be able to get tickets (even at $300) to see ""Ka"" in Las Vegas and share it with my boyfriend who had never seen the company perform before.
Well, the excitement died out after about 5 minutes into the show. It had nothing of what you would expect from a Cirque performance. No unbelievable acrobatics. No amazing feats of balance or contortionism. Instead you got a baton-twirling, dance show. The action was so slow, I actually fell asleep for a moment. Other people were leaving halfway through. For a classic Cirque experience in Las Vegas, see ""O"" or ""Mystere"" instead.
