No, no, no. Spend your money ( a lot of it ) elsewhere. We are from Houston, and we know Mexican (& Tex-Mex) food. We also know good food. This place does not have it. The ambiance and service were OK, otherwise the rating would be one star. Everyone was disappointed with their entrees. I opted for the chef's 'Taster' (sample platter) of four dishes: sea bass (decent, though slightly overcooked), beef tenderloin (uninspired and bland lying atop some sort of odd bland paste), ceviche (this was the worst - almost nothing but cabbage/lettuce that tasted fishy - I'm not kidding), and fingerling potatoes (good, but are boiled potatoes really something a great chef puts on display?). Our complaints were all similar. The food was bland or ordinary. I can get a better meal from a chain restaurant in Houston. I rarely write restaurant reviews, but the degree of disappointment was so high, I just had to vent a bit. Choose a different restaurant in Vegas.
