Review content:
I went to Everywoman's Health after my primary care physician recommended that I get a cervical biopsy done due to an abnormal pap smear.
My experience from the very beginning with this clinic was horrendous. I left my initial consultation in tears as the doctor had repeatedly told me ""You COULD HAVE CANCER right now, but we won't know until we take a biopsy"" over and over until I was crying. All I wanted was information about my condition and what other options there were, if any, and instead all I got was fear mongering.
I should have taken this as a sign and went elsewhere, but because I was so scared at this point of actually having cancer, I went through with the biopsy appointment. It was a horrible experience - the biopsy taker got caught on my cervix! She kept repeating that ""it's stuck, it's stuck"" and I was screaming in pain. I remember looking up at my husband who was with me at the appointment and he had tears in his eyes because of what was going on. After that appointment, I had sharp stabbing pains in my cervix for months afterwards.
FYI - I just had another biopsy done by a competent doctor and it was no where near as painful as this experience was.
I will NEVER, EVER go back to Everywoman's Health ever again. The few people I have come across that have gone here have changed doctors as well. Take our advice and run for the hills away from this place!!!!
Pros: Example: best croissants in town
Cons: They seem to make procedures as painful as possible.
