I had the same experience. Got call from them . They told me i missed my appointment at 11 am. for my routine cleaning and it is gonna be $35 fine for ' no show up ' .\r
I told her ,i was out of town,i did not get any phone calls before . \r
receptionist told me ,if i will schedule new appointment , then -'no fine'. \r
I told her ,i do not remember to schedule appointment 6 month ago, especially ,if you not sure about insurance availability .\r
From my experience before ,receptionist usually reminds you on the phone about 'cleaning' every 6 month and ask you on the phone:\r
WOULD YOU LIKE TO SCHEDULE APPOITMENT FOR YOUR ROUTINE CLEANING?\r

I told receptionist ,they probably APPOITMENT appointment automatically , six month in advance .\r
I picked up the phone and find out , i missed my appointment, which was schedule 6 month ago.\r
I told receptionist ,you can not charge fine for appointment ,if the patient did not have a clue about appointment, especially , if it is 6 month waiting period.I will call again to the office ,and will try to talk with Julie.
