Review content:
I had learned to brace myself every time I went to the dentist. I'd lie in the chair, every muscle in my body tense, including my hands that gripped the chair during every visit. Even if I wasn't hurting, I was full on-alert -- knowning a jolt of pain would surprise me as soon as I let down my guard.
Dr. Pete has changed all that. Heck, sometimes I don't even get novacaine shots anymore. But when I do, even they don't hurt.
I've had all my silver fillings from the 70s replaced with white filling material. I've had my first root canal (which was nothing --- I'd heard horror stories). I've had clear braces (yes, Dr. Pagano does clear braces and has been doing regular braces for 30 years) and I've had professional whitening. Oh .. I've also had 3 cavities filled.
I'm no longer afraid of the dentist. Even the hygienist is gentle!
