Review content:
SafeCo is a great place to watch a baseball game. I sat in two different levels and both had excellent views of the game, as well as a fabulous view of downtown from behind first base. You can walk around the entire stadium on the field level which gives you the intimate feel of being at a minor league stadium. Easy access to concessions ( food, drink and souveniers ) without long lines.
Two suggestions....I stayed downtown and caught the bus (free) to Union Station just a few blocks from the left field entrance. On the way there are people selling the treats that you pay alot more for once you get inside ( a package of kettle korn and peanuts can be had for under $5.00 outside and they let you bring it into the stadium ) also shop the vendors for deals on tee shirts, etc.).
