I scheduled an appointment here because they were able to fit me in the same afternoon I called. I went in for an extremely sore and swollen throat which was accompanied by a common cold. The doctor came into the room and immediately treated me with a lack of respect which was apparent in her being very skeptical of why I was there. After explaining to her how I was feeling she told me that I was simply having symptoms of a cold and that I just needed to go home and rest and it would pass. I explained to her that my throat really hurting and that I hadn't slept in days for the pain. She seemed annoyed and then had a look at my throat. The doctor immediately scooted back in her chair and said, ""wow! that looks painful!"". She said my throat was extremely red and swollen. She did a swab for strep throat and other things. The results were negative for strep but positive for yeast. She prescribed me an anti-yeast medication but when I asked for something for the pain (which is what a previous doctor also treated with) she looked at me as if I had suddenly denounced her religion and said, ""i've never heard of that, I dont know what you're talking about"". She then quickly got out of her chair and walked out of the room. She returned a minute later and said, the infection will pass on its own and told me to go home! She refused to write me a prescription simply because I asked about something to treat pain!\r

Do NOT go here. They are mean and incompetent. Also, not that I have a problem with it but this is a clinic specifically designed and geared for women. It is not advertised as such but when you walk in you will find that every patient and staff is female and that all the questions on the medical evaluation are regarding female health and gynecological status. I also felt as if because I am male, I was treated a bit less compassion and respect. This may be in my head but it just seemed as if I got the cold shoulder from the staff and doctor alike.\r

In any case, the medical care I received was extremely unprofessional and I would NOT recommend this clinic to anyone.
