Review content:
I was charged with DUI in Anne Arundel by a MTA officer. I had a connection in the Howard County police department who referred me to Colleen. When I was first charged, I was scared I would lose my job. Colleen was very helpful and reassuring, telling me that everything would be okay and not to worry about informing my employer. On Colleen's advice, I began alcohol treatment prior to my court date because she believed it would give the judge more reason to believe that I am taking this offense seriously. And she was right. Throughout the process, Colleen was extremely accessible. If I needed to speak with her she would get back to me within 10-30 minutes. My judgement was almost exactly as Colleen predicted. She was able to read through my paperwork and walk me through the process on the first day I met her. Based on the charges against me, she was able to indicate what the outcome would most likely be as long as we had a reasonable judge. On my courtdate, everything went exactly as Colleen had discussed. She was able to get the judge to offer me a PBJ, which will not affect my job and will have no impact on my insurance as long as there are no other issues prior to the end of my probation. Colleen was a fantastic attorney. She is very well spoken and concise compared to other representation I have seen. She is very thorough and makes sure she has covered every aspect of the paperwork to make sure she can argue the case to the best interest of her client.
