Review content:
I brought my two new puppies here for their routine care. This clinic is pretty modern and full service, more like a spa than a standard vet clinic.
The front desk, assistants, and doctors were all very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The doctor spent a lot of time working on my puppies and checking them out. They asked for stool samples on the dogs to do some screening. I had pet insurance at the time, so I requested the fees so I could submit for reimbursement.
They were nice enough to follow up with phone calls later to check on the pets. They made recommendations that would probably cover everything the dogs ever needed. But, I found out the fees were not anywhere near covered by my insurance as they were more expensive. I compared them to fees at other clinics and they were a lot higher here.
Because I have two small puppies, I can't afford to pay $200 every time they need a check up and shot, which is what it is running me here. If I brought them in once a year, that would be a great place to take them, but every 3 weeks or when a new shot is needed, they do another complete exam and charge me for it? I can't afford that.
So, if you pamper your pets and want the best and are not afraid to pay for it, go to Sacajawea. If you are looking for a little more value and less frills, I would try something else.
