I did research of several storage places and chose this two years ago. What a mistake. The rate went up within 6 months and again in another 8 months and one last time 9 months later just as I left. Every time was $5. I was told by the guy who runs the new place I am at this is how most storage places do it. Increase your price with 6 months because you probably aren't wanting to rent a truck to move to another place. Plus you have to take their insurance if you don't have you own which in $9. The stuff I was storing was easily replaceable and I didn't want the insurance. \r

Finally had enough, I looked around for another place and found one that didn't have a website when I was looking originally. It is with ten minutes of my place unlike ESS. Rates are half of what I was paying and they actually have gone down and I don't have to have insurance. And the email reminder for ESS didn't work even half the time, I had to set up a remainder on my computer calendar and when I had finally l
