BE WARNED!!!!
One of the 3 movers that were sent by Master Movers stole my engagement ring.
Diamond Engagement ring and diamond wedding band were left on the vanity of our master bath. The only people that were in that room the day of the move were myself and the 3 movers. At the end of the day I went to the master bath and saw the engagement ring was gone, wedding band, necklace and earrings were still there. Movers denied any involvement, we had sheriff come, the movers gave conflicting stories to the sheriff and indicated that they were never alone in the house. We called Master Movers and were told that they never had any complaints before, it has now been 3 weeks and no one from the company has called to follow up.
The police told us that the employee stories were conflicting, and that he did not have the legal right to search them. They did empty their pockets and take off their shoes, but that is all that could be done.
The fact of the story is, that my engagement ring was right next to my wedding band and earrings when the movers got there and just the one ring was not when they were leaving. There was no possibility of it being misplaced by me.
