These specialists truly know what they are doing. They help you to understand what's going on with your pet. They are thorough and caring, and have respect for you as a pet owner, and your pet. They have a 24-hour critical care facility for your pet's emergencies ** My cats never get sick or hurt during regular hours. Why is that? ** And they have a team of specialists (surgery, cardiology, dermatology, and then some) that you can schedule an appointment with. They are upfront about all costs. They have been wonderful with my cat and explained to me and showed me how to care for him at home. My cat had multiple issues (complicated by the poor judgment of our now, ex-veterinarian). I have never heard anything negative about Bay Area Veterinary Specialists (BAVS). Plus, they listen to your concerns! I have not waited more than 5 minutes for a scheduled appointment, and that was only once. And they are less than a minute from I-880.
