I am the general manager of Patchin Pictures, and I would like to comment on Wendy?s negative review. Her order was unique in that her slides came individually mounted in metal frames, and her film was encased in specialty magi-cartridges. We failed in that our customer service representative did not explain about the need for special handling of these particular slides and film, which are very labor intensive. To keep our prices as low as possible, slide scan prices are based on standard 35 mm slides in paper or plastic mounts. Our film transfer prices are based on film on reels, not encased in plastic. Because we had already quoted a price to her, without adding any extra handling, we DID NOT charge extra for handling her uniquely mounted slides and film. \r \r Regarding the DVD master: it is not an ?extra? charge; it is actually part of the itemized price for a film transfer.
