Our 8 mnth blk lab. lethargic & sick w/ vomiting & diarrhea 12 hrs(Fri.pm- Sat.am), required immediate medical attention. Since our regular vet. was unavailable on weekends & not knowing if it was an obstruction-major deal -"stomach bug"-minor deal, we needed to seek an alternate source of care that wouldn't cost "an arm and a leg" just by walking through the door on a weekend. After calling around to a few hospitals, explaining our situation and being told that they were unable to "fit our emergency situation" into their schedule, I was relieved when Whitman Animal Hosp. told us to come over immediately. After careful handling, x-rays and full exam. by Dr Brown, we were then referred to a larger animal hosp. equipped to perform surgery- x-rays in tow. They even called ahead for us and alerted the them before we left. My husband and I were impressed by the staff's knowledge, thankful for their friendliness, accommodations and caring attitude and RELIEVED that the cost for their em
