As far as I know, they dont charge for any missed classes or make up classes or books. I think that was from years ago. Defensive Driving School has some incredibly good instructors, you just have to know who to request! The instructors can be very friendly, knowledgable, and not old at all. I think with any large driving school you will have some good and some bad but overall Defensive Driving School has some very hard working, good quality, punctual instructors. Make sure you read the entire registration form so there are no surprises when you register and I think you will be happy with your choice!
