Review content:
Yes, I will agree that pre-op testing is your safest route to ensure the safest possible outcome, however in the past ten years veterinary costs have sky rocketed. Insurance is available for your pet but the average income in this region of NJ does not indicate affordability. A common dilemma that faces many responsible pet owners. Veterinarian costs could be lowered, but lately I have seen a shift from Vets who truly want to take care of the animals? best interest to Vets that are in it for a profit. Ethics anyone?? It?s ultimately the animals? health at jeopardy here. The amount of money being charged for simple surgical procedures such as spay or neuter that literally takes on average 15 minuets for a Vet to perform is ridiculous. When did greed come into Pet health care? And people wonder why pet adoption is low.
