My fiance had a french violin that was worth 5k but it had a crack that was sustained on shipment from phillipines. We brought it over to Stephen Violens and for a couple hundred dollars, the violen was restored to its almost natrual look. It is hard to tell it was cracked or even sligthly damaged. IThe crack was about 1 inch right of the bridge and now you can only see it if you look closely. The fix is nearly perfect and the violin still sounded perfect. The individual who bought did not even know it was damaged even we told her; it still sold for 4500 which is a good deal for both of us. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone that needs fixing.
