Review content:
The Rialto is one of the only movie theaters in Raleigh that shows limited release, independent, and controversial movies. They have the typical movie food, but also a small bar that serves alcohol. Every Friday night at midnight they host the chaos that comes with a Rocky Horror Picture Show showing, which is a unique experience unto itself. The Burning Coal Theatre Company, a non-profit theatre company that does a wide variety of interactive plays, is based out of the Rialto. Some of the best movies I have seen in the past year have been at The Rialto. Unlike some other smaller theaters, they have Dolby Surround Sound and every seat in the house has a good view of the screen.
