My wife and I first heard about Ashland Tire and Auto on an NPR auto program (Click and Clack I believe). We have two Saturns (one with over 160,000 miles) and have had several of the typical issues that a high mileage vehicle has. One time when I brought in my car they said there were several possible things wrong with it but that no individual item could be pinpointed and therefore it was better not to take a guess (the car is close to its end and they felt it would be throwing away money to try and guess at what was wrong). Not only that, but they would not take any money for the diagnostic work which took over an hour. They just said "we appreciate your business." As long as I live anywhere near Ashland Tire and Auto, they are my family's only auto repair shop.
PROS: honest, fair, accurate, timely
CONS: absolutely none, highest recommendation
