I've had them out a few times over the years. They do good work, but I have to agree they are very expensive compared to other providers. Several hundred dollars to replace a kitchen faucet and a couple minor valves under the kitchen sink (and I provided the faucet). Initially tried to sell me on a cheap Delta faucet from their truck at an unbelievable mark-up. They do try to up-sell and point out other areas that need repair. I should have declined and just forfeited the visit fee after their estimate, felt foolish (and screwed) after the work was done. Same with a garbage disposal installation when I was new to home ownership. Won't call them again. I imagine their rates are universally high, but how much they get you for probably has a lot to do with the specific salesman/plumber who shows up at your door. On a broader note, consider whether you need a plumber at all. I wish I had contacted a regular (and cheaper) handyman for simple projects like the faucet and garbage disposal in
