On my fiance's search to find an engagement ring to my specifications (no diamonds, no gold color, affordable!!...) he went to Grubba Jewelers first, as he knows I also appreciate at support local buisness. When he went in, the attending person continued to show him extremely expensive diamond rings. All of which he specifically didn't ask for. \r He found my engagement ring at a Kohl's store, and was open about where he bought it, and to be honest, I didn't care. But I did want to try and support local buisness by taking it back to Grubba's to have it sized. The lady that orignally attended to me was very kind. Then the jeweler (who was sitting at the counter, doing much of nothing besides having a LOUD political conversation with a pal of his) saw my ring. He started criticizing the ring. A few gems of conversation "I won't back my work up on this ring" "Cant you just take this back to Target and get a different size?" "Make sure you take their money first"...\r My fiance actually had
