Dr. Handel took care of our siberian huskies for almost eleven years. He always treated our dogs with care, us with respect, listened to our concerns, and was upfront about any situation or course of treatment that needed to be addressed.\r \r His diligence and attention to detail when routine blood work was performed on our older dog, led to the discovery of Rocky Mountain Fever, a disease transmitted by ticks. Although we check our dogs routinely for ticks, apparently one must have gotten through the radar.\r \r With no visible symptoms, we would have had no way of knowing our little guy was seriously ill until it was too late. After the prescribed course of antibiotics, our boy recovered completely. We believe Dr. Handel saved his life.\r \r We have moved out of the area and are no longer able to go to Handel With Care Veterinary Hospital. However, we would recommend Dr. Handel to anyone who wants an outstanding veterinarian.\r \r His facilities and staff are top notch. If you want t
