At Daytona Bike Week a couple of years ago I took my brother to Carter's to book a campsite for a full month for the following year. It's just down the street from me and it's a nice, well kept place. They showed us the sites to choose from and he was assured he would get the specific site that was promised him so he put a deposit down. When he showed up the following year to check in, someone else was in that site. He was told that the people occupying the site would be moved to another site by the next day but when he went to check in the next day they renigged on their promise and offered him a parking spot right on the pavement beside the driveway because that's all they had left! We think they saw dollar signs because the people in our reserved spot were staying for 4 months and he was only staying for one month. Where I come from a deal is a deal. I will never do business with them again and neither will I recommend them to any of our many RVing friends!
