I am writing this as a heartfelt recommendation for Dr. Kalvig.\r If you have a pet and if live anywhere near to NYC, by all means---make your way to her office!\r \r Dr. Kalvig cared diligently and well for my two cats who lived-somewhat surprisingly--to the ages of 18 and 20. I cannot imagine that I would have had as many long and happy years with them had I entrusted their care to any other doctor.\r \r Dr Kalvig is thorough, pragmatic, and caring--deeply concerned with the well being of the animals in her care while also showing a great sensitivity to the challenges that we humans encounter when caring for sick creatures. \r \r While she took truly lovely care of both my "boys," I would like to share a little detail abouth the miraculous and exceptional work she did with my cat, Sprite. At 7 years old, Sprite was diagnosed with a form of heart disease that is nearly always fatal for cats--often within two years (and in many cases even less)\r \r Misdiagnosed and wrongly medicated by two oth
