Review content:
I just went to Mock Tire and had my car towed there b/c it wouldn't start. The battery has 100% charge .. the problem was the starter. I was told the starter for a 2003 Toyota Matrix costs $299. Well, according to Autozone, a local auto parts store, a refurbished starter is $98 and a brand new one is $139. When I asked the guy @ Mock why the part is so much when the highest price I saw is $139 (everything online was a little cheaper than Autozone) he told me that its was prob refurb ... well thats not right b/c a refurb is cheaper than $139! (@$98)... Then he said that Mock pays more for the part than the price I quoted him! ... That would be down right stupid then! ... how could you make any $??? when I told him that if the prices I found were for refubs then they wld be guilty of false advertising ... he said that ther are ways to legally get around it ... WTF?!?! .... All in all the service was fast however, they apparently have dishonest practices. I will only speak of the person
