Review content:
I made a reservation to board my dog at Columbia Pike Animal Hospital. In the meantime, my cat developed conjunctivitis, which she had before as a kitten when I first took her to Columbia Pike. The condition was easily cleared up with antibiotic eye drops. However, when I took her in this time, (a second occurence, which is common) the new vet (the other vet was not available - you can rarely get an appointment with the same vet at Columbia Pike and there is constant vet turnover) told me she had to do several tests, and then concluded that the cat had blocked tear ducts, which she would need to put her under to treat. I declined. I was charged $100 dollars (for no treatment). Before I left I asked to see the boarding facilities. The "facilities" looked like the prison cells I saw at the tour of Alcatraz prison I once took - peeling paint, concentration camp conditions. I don't even think that the place could be sanitary.
