I currently had my car repaired at Beaman Toyota and was ""helped"" by Corky. First of all, they charged me $90 just to diagnose my car. Then they tell me that if the part that they ""cleaned"" defaults again, I will have to replace it for only $1,000! Of course, a month later my car stops on the side of the road and I have to get towed to their dealership. Corky was not helpful at all, and did not provide me any alternatives to replacing the part. He also seemed to be the only person who didn't think that this was unusual, and that a three year old Camry should not have a malfunctioning throttle! \r Four days, and $1,100 later my car was finally fixed. When I called a corporate number to complain, I found out that the throttle was recalled and was under warrenty!! HOW DOES A DEALER CHARGE PEOPLE FOR PARTS THAT ARE RECALLED! How could no one have known that this part was under warrenty by Toyata, and how many other people have blindly been charged for parts that should have been free?! I was refunded my money, but I will NEVER go to Beaman Toyota for anything again! Pros: shuttle service, helpful manager Cons: not trustworthy
