Review content:
Upon arriving at the restaurant we were brought to a small unfurnished room to sit and wait. We were offered a drink but it was very awkward. I felt like I was in the waiting room of a doctor's office. The furnishings were drap and unimpressive. We were taken to our table after about 20 minutes. We did have a great view but my husband and I sat about 2 feet apart from each...not exactly romantic. The lighting in the restaurant was very bright. One of the reasons we picked this restaurant was because it was described as romantic. Between the lighiting, the distance we sat apart from each other and the drab decor, it was not romantic at all. The service was OK but nothing special. We had the seven course menu with the paired wines. The food was very average and each course felt rushed. I felt like I had to guzzle my wine with each course to keep up with the service. After we got our bill, which was $500 for 2 of us, we left feeling very ripped off. Needless to say, we won't be back!
Pros: The view, if you get it
Cons: The decor, the ambience, the food
