I have eaten at the Hampton Buffet several times since moving to Greenville a year ago. The service has always been very warm and attentive, and the food is consistently and surprisingly good for the price. The salad and dessert bars have a good selection for a buffet of this size, and they have a rotating menu of meats and mains through the week. Their clientele tends to be older, but you will also find young families and large groups in the dining area.\r

(More than anything, I felt I needed to write about my positive experiences at this restaurant to counter MitigationElf's review on 7/8/11. I'm always a bit skeptical when I see that someone has signed up to sites like these to only post one negative review...makes me think they might have a personal beef with the owner or something similarly unrelated to the actual quality of the establishment.)
