Review content:
Guilford-Jamestown was an OK vet as far as services go. What wasn't OK is how much they charge for heartworm and flea medication. The previous vet I went to (switched to G-J because I moved to Greensboro) charged half of what G-J does for their medication. So I tried to get the heartworm meds online and requested G-J to give me a written prescription. No go. They wanted proof that my dog had taken pills every month and wouldn't accept my previous vet's records from when I bought a year's worth of heartworm. I'm not sure how they wanted me to prove it because it didn't seem to bother them last month when they tried to get me to buy a year's worth from them for twice what I paid at my previous vet! So basically, they wouldn't let me buy it from anyone, but them. Needless to say, I'm switching back to my previous vet, even though they're 45 minutes away in Clemmons compared to 5 minutes for G-J.
Pros: Vets are nice
Cons: Hugely inflated prices on medications, vets don't remember dogs
