Review content:
Went to my initial medical review for the lap-band procedure. Everything went well as would be expected. But, after the Dr. left the office, I was left with a scheduler who began setting me up with a series of (other) medical visits never discussed. What does ""sleep apnea"" have to do with lap-band surgery? Well, the scheduler had no idea either! A diabetes consult? Yes, I already know I have Type II diabetes! Why do you think I'm going for this surgery? Of course, the scheduler had no idea either...... Anyway, I called my ""angel"" (the person who will guide me through the process) the next morning in an attempt to get some understanding. As I asked about each procedure, she said, ""Well.....if you want the surgery performed by some fly-by-night doctor, I should go somwhere else!"" You know Theresa......that's probably the best advice I've gotten yet from your practice! You are ill-suited to perform such a liaison function. You scare the hell out of me!
Pros: Big parking lot!
Cons: Dr. was very personable but left out any discussion of his own recommendations.
