Review content:
I am the father of a child diagnosed with ADHD by Dr. Jim Poole as well. He has been our pediatrician for many years now. I have never been to his home, had lunch with him, and most importantly, had any problems with him. I see you used the phrase ex husband. I would hope that if he has the problems you mentioned that your son lives with you. If he does then he should not have access to your sons medication. He has prescribed many different medications for my son and has always started with the lowest dosage possible for a starting point. He, as well as many doctors we have visited for all our family members have at times suggested or sent us to other doctors for their opinions or because he or they thought is was in our best interest, not because he, or they did not know what they were doing. I think they call it practicing medicine, and there is not a doctor alive today that can always know exactly what is wrong with a person. They most always treat the symptom in hope of a cure, not in hope that the medicine they provide will help a member of the family. It sounds as if you want to lash out at him for you problems. In a nut shell he has been there for us and has met and seen us after hours not to just prescribe medication but listen to what is going on in our sons life and offer his and i say with great respect, professional advice. He has called our cell phones to check on him many times as well. If you do not like him simply do not go to him, but please do not bash him with remarks like that. We give him 5 stars only because 10 stars were not avaliable.!!! With that said i hope your son is doing great and your ex has found help with the problem he had before Dr. Poole was your sons doctor. I hope you are enjoying life as well now. God bless you and your family , because i know he has blessed ours with a great man and Doctor such as Dr. Jim Poole.\r \r Thanks,\r Growing child believers\r Wake Forest,N.C. Pros: Very concerned with childrens well being !!!!! Cons: Has to take bad comments, like the rest of us !!!!!
