User Rating: 1 out of 5 stars \r by linda.ritlinger 11/24/2009 \r I am a registered nurse of twenty years. Despite this Dr. being told that my ex is a drug addicted, abusive, alcoholic, he continues to provide bogus and erroneous diagnosis' for my son while we have good reason to beleive that Kevin Ritlinger, Corey's father, is using Corey to illegally obtain methamphetamine drugs for his own personal use. Corey recently turned his father in this last summer for drug use of which Dr. Poole got a copy of that police report, he also got a report of the accurate diagnosis made by a reputable psychologist that informed Dr. Poole my son doesn't have ADD/ADHD, doesn't have Asperger's, and isn't autistic all of which this quack has attributed to my son in order to attempt to warrant the erroneous prescribing of medications which we have good reason to beleive are being used by Kevin Ritlinger, Corey's father. Dr. Poole sent my son to a specialist, pediatric neurologist, without symptoms to warrant such a referral, ""Just to make sure everything is okay."" Never in my twenty years have I ever known any doctor to send any patient to a specialist ""Just to make sure everything's okay,"" without serious symptoms to warrant such a referral. I have begged Dr. Poole to stop prescribing these medications to my son where he doesn't have any of the erroneous diagnosis' that this quack fabricates with several visits and without concrete testing of such. In my opinion, this quack is potentially assisting a felony crime where my ex has previously stolen narcotics from me when I had to have oral surgury, Tylenol #3, Vicodin, and Percocet, and Oxycontin from his third terminally ill ex-wife. If you value the safety and welfare of your child, you will not take that child to this, in my opinion, despicable quack, who, it seems, despite my son having adverse reactions to the medications this quack prescribes for him in light of the fact there is nothing wrong with Corey that meets any warrant for the medications he is being prescribed, continues to put his financial well being before the safety and welfare of a child. Never in my twenty years have I come across such a despicable quack such as this physician is.\r \r We just took my son to a renowned NC Neuropsychiatry Dr. who tested my son for five hours and found absolutely nothing wrong with him. No Asperger's, no autism, or ADD, ADHD such as Dr. Poole suggested my son had without testing him for these diagnosis'. Ironically, at the time of writing, I discovered that this quack lives in a million dollar home and can't even pay his property taxes, imagine that. Other patrons of this doctor have written reviews indicating this doctor has tried to sell them his CD's and other money making paraphanalia, talked about ""Fast Brain Syndrome,"" and other bogus fabricated conditions. Furthermore, his license was reprimanded some years ago for being sexually inappropriate with not only his female staff, but, also, mothers taking their babies to his clinic for well baby checks and sick call appointments! Just wanted to let you know this. As usual though, any complaints are found unsubstantiated by the board of medicine, isn't that a suprise!?\r Cons: Potentially Feeding a Drug Addicted Father
