I stopped by Cafe Pompeii for a couple slices of pizza and a coke. The restaurant itself looks fine. A far amount of people dining. Looks like a fair amount of restaurants of the North End in the evening. Ordered a two slices of cheese and a coke and was blown away by the price (example: $2 for a can of Coke). However, I said to myself ""maybe the pizza is worth the price"". Sadly, it was not. The pizza is average. Nothing to write home about. However, late at night, not many places in the North End still serve slices (so options are limited). So, if you really, really, really want a slice of pizza....it's an option. If not, I would go somewhere else.
