Review content:
I called an set up an appointment to have my rugs picked up and cleaned. They were supposed to come out on a Monday between 9 am and 11 am. No one showed. On Wednesday, I get a call from a guy named Ivan who is outside saying he is from A1. I allowed him to come pick up my carpet thinking he was sent by A1. He quoted me a ridiculously high price. I told him I could not afford it. He says okay, I will do it myself, but don't let A1 know. I was so desperate to get my rugs done that I agreed to his price and allowed him to take both of my rugs. A few days later, he brings them back, rolled up. I paid. I then discovered that one rug had been spot cleaned and one had not been cleaned AT ALL! To say I was upset would be putting it mildly. The bottom line is: Had A1 handled this situation professionally and not given him my name, number, and address I would not have been ripped off by Ivan (310) 801-5868.
RESPONSE FROM A1 Carpet Care:
It is with deep regret to learn that our cleaning technician is dishonest. It is difficult enough to be in business with honest help. I do not understand how a person can steal from the hand that feeds his family. I will no longer send Ivan to any of our Customer's again, knowing he could also steal from our Customer's home. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
