Businiess name:  Miramar Transmission

Review content:
Owner talks a great game but is completely full of it. Paid $700 for tranny teardown only for them to tell me it would cost double their pre-teardown estimate. So I'm stuck with either a $700 bill with no repairs or paying double what I expected. \r \r THE WORST PART: Before I took it in, I had transmission slippage. After I took it out, the car was completely undriveable. Owner explains there is "complications" in putting tranny back that could cause problems. IMO, they're liars and probably botched the re-assembly. Of course, they did not take responsibility. \r \r These people are borderline con artists, do not be fooled by their "professional" attitude. PROS: None. CONS: Liars, Botched transmission re-assembly, Misrepresented costs
