So, I decided to go to the Carolina Brewing Company beer dinner at Solas last night... Not much of a beer drinker really, but the menu looked good so I decided to try it. \r

A very good decision on my part. I'm lactose intolerant, so eating out is frequently an unnerving experiece. Each course of the dinner had appropriate (and delicious) substitutions :).\r

Although I'm sad that I didn't get to try the cheesecake (stupid lactose intolerance!) - that was; according to the other guests around me, expertly paired with the ""Nut Brown Ale"" the lactose free sorbet I was given was excellent. I'm not typically a huge sorbet fan either - but this sorbet was not too sweet and the flavors went well together... Mango and berry or pomegranate (my best guess). \r

I'll be back again soon, for sure!
Pros: Lactose Intolerant Friendly
Cons: Couldn't try the cheesecake!
