We will never return to this store! We were looking to purchase another Hyacinth macaw so we drove 45 min from long beach to check this place out. We were horribly disappointed! It was clean enough, macaws were in tiny cages, staff barely spoke English, birds were fed sunflower seeds which is like eating Mcdonalds everyday.The story I was told about the Toucan sounds a bit suspicious. An Amazon walked on my arm and one of the staff gruffly told me to put it down, if you don't want people to touch or hold your birds you should post signs or don't have them out where customers can reach them!! We have never felt more unwelcome. We will just buy from a reputable breeder instead.
