And on that farm there was a non-profit… Old MacDonald Farm is a non-profit center geared toward teaching about farming to a variety of ages. We have been there for their pumpkin event at Halloween and as a school group. The farm is small and easy to manage. It offers a variety of information on the animals, crops and equipment that is used on a farm. They have volunteers who lead groups and answer questions, along with well-marked resource centers with various handouts and activities to do.
