Review content:
Buyers beware! I bought a used boat from Kent at Hipp Marine and I really wish I hadn't. I could go on and on here for hours about why you should stay away from Hipp Marine but let me sum it up with a quote from Kent ""We are a broker and buying a boat from us is like buying a boat from a private party. We have no liability as to the condition and safety of the products that we sell"".\r \r Kent sold me a boat that he assured me had been fully serviced and was in perfect working condition. It turns out that this was not at all the case. I was able to get a copy of the service records and which confirmed that Kent had been lying to me all along. Why did I need the service records? Because since the first day I had the boat out on the water I've had nothing but problems and had to spend nearly a thousand dollars on parts, repairs, and service. Had I known then what I know now about Kent's incompetence and dishonesty and Hipp Marine's overall lack of care for its customers, I definitely would have purchased a used boat elsewhere.\r \r If you do decide to go to Hipp Marine, take your well known and trusted boat expert with you....don't believe ANYTHING that Kent tells you...everything he says is a lie or at best just his way of telling you what you want to hear when he really has no idea of the true answer.\r \r Please understand....as a buyer you always buy at your own risk HOWEVER you should mitigate that risk by avoiding Hipp Marine. It is clear to me that they have no morals or ethical responsibility when they sold me a boat that was completely unsafe.
