Review content:
Beware--this place is super obnoxious in person, but it's even worse for delivery! Swim Cafe is 0.4 miles from my house, and they charge $5 for delivery. Add $3 for a halfway decent tip and we're talking $8 total--that's $20 per mile to bring me breakfast. I ordered a bagel with lox, a side of bacon, and a coffee (neither a large nor complicated order). 80 minutes later (10 minutes after the late end of the promise range), all three arrived, cold. Not lukewarm, mind you, but cold. When the delivery guy showed up in the street and called my phone (even though my directions explicitly asked him to just come up the steps and ring the doorbell), and then, after I told him to come to the door, he came up the steps and *opened* the front door to my apartment without knocking. And of course, instead of an apology, I got a "You're all set." Am I? Don't order from here unless you want cold, overpriced food, delivered late and incompetently, at great expense.
