My experience at Village Cleaners was the worst I have ever encountered at a drycleaners. I brought a pair of jeans in for a minor alteration. When I picked up the jeans, I discovered to my horror, that the front of the right pant leg had been sewn to the back of the right pant leg at the thigh level. The erroneous stiching made it impossible for me to get my hand through the leg, let alone my leg. These jeans were not inexpensive ($185.00) and were nearly ruined. I did not receive an apology, I was not offered any discount, and I was told the jeans could not be mailed or delivered, despite the fact that I do not live in the University District. I will NEVER use this drycleaner again and strongly caution those who are considering using them for any service.
