Review content:
Perhaps you folks that have had bad treatment at Westmoreland should try UPMC Shadyside (where the #10 best hospital in the country does it's cardiac surgery). My father spent more than 2 months in that system for ""gall bladder pain"". For each day he spent in the hospital, he never saw the same doctor twice. Therefore, each of those doctors had their own opinion about his condition and would either send him home one day or keep him the next day because he had sepsis or a frail heart. Finally one day they did send him home because he was apparently clear of the sepsis and had no infection for 5 days. My mother objected to their findings pointing to his red face and high temp but their ""Infectious Doctor"" cleared him to go home, infection free. Within 10 HOURS he was back in that ""superior"" hospital with sepsis plus severe atrial fibrillation. At no time did any doctor on his team know what the other doctors were doing BUT they did send in their crack team of psychiatrists who ""tried"" to put him on antipsychotics because he wanted to go home after 31 days in the hospital!!! Do you want me to discuss the filth and crowdedness at Shadyside? Since Westmoreland is so bad, please experience UPMC Shadyside for yourselves. You'll soon see that you have a very nice hospital that makes mistakes like any other hospital, including the 10th Best Hospital in the USA, according to US News and World Report.\r
