Review content:
Yeah, we got our furnace first from Hoffman Heating and Air, and that seemed like a smooth process. I had no complaints, but there was nothing outstanding or noteworthy also. We also got our air conditioning through them. We just had a little bit of a problem with that because the person that installed it did something incorrectly.
We had to have them back later, and it was kind of a difficult, drawn-out process that shouldn't have been. Someone initially diagnosed the problem incorrectly. That just worried me for a little bit because it was such a big purchase to me made. I started to doubt the decision to go with Hoffman, but I did talk to the owner about things, and I guess he resolved them.
We received no kind of compensation to help with the hassle, which would have been nice, but everything was fine. I'm hopeful the units won't fail or trouble us in the future.
RESPONSE FROM Duct Cleaning Twin Cities:
Thanks for the review Lindsey. We're sorry to hear that your air conditioner installation was less than you expected. Furnace and AC installation can be rather challenging since it's a retro fit of the previous equipment. Much depends on the way the old system was installed and what it is being replaced with.
Generally, replacement goes very smoothly, as did your furnace installation, since we have very experienced technicians with years of experience. The AC caused us some unexpected problems, but it was fully covered under warranty and was rectified shortly after. As with anything, sometimes we are supplied with faulty components direct from the manufacturer which, as I recall, was your situation. We are positive you wont have any more problems and it has worked fine all season long for you.
I'm not aware of any manufacturer who will "compensate" for faulty components, especially when nothing was damaged. You could try writing Lennox directly if you like, but am doubtful you would receive anything, since they were able to rectify it by using our company.
