I called ProChem out because of bed bugs. They told me about the thermal heat system to get rid of bed bugs in just one day. I had bids from other companies, one wanted to freeze the bugs for $1200.00. One wanted to spray the bugs for $600.00 per treatment with a minimum of 3 treatments (because chemical doesn't kill the eggs) and ProChem came in with a one time heat treatment for $1800.00. I thought this was way to expensive until I started adding up the costs of throwing away my bed and furniture that the other companies wanted me to do. The Chemical company would have cost me $1800.00 plus new furniture and the freezing company with new furniture (but found out that freezing isn't a one shot service. It's hard to get those guys deep in the furniture.
So, I chose ProChem's heat service. Diego came in gave me a prep sheet. It was very simple. I just had to remove my candles, makeup and a few cans out of the house. The rest stayed in order to reduce the chance of taking any bed bugs out.
8 hours later, I came back to a totally hot house and found dead bed bugs everywhere.
A few days later, I had K-9 Sweeps out to check the house. This was amazing! Sara (the dog) checked my house to confirm there were no bed bugs or eggs left over after the treatment. Joe even hid a vile of bed bugs in my house to make sure Sara was doing her job.
The house came back clean and it's been 3 months with no bed bugs! I am so happy with my decision to use ProChem! The service was fast and they did what they said they would do. They killed all the bugs in one service. I've now started using ProChem as my pest company and this service has also been great. They use a power sprayer on my entire property. I have no bugs!!!!
